New toy
Today I got a new toy in the mail. I ordered a pinhole lens cap to use with my digital SLR, and it's a big improvement over my homemade cardboard one I made a couple of weeks ago. So, I had fun trying it out today. It's different... since there is no view in the viewfinder you're literally composing in the dark, but at least with digital there is instant feedback to improve exposure and composition. This photo, our espresso maker, was shot at 200 ISO for 45 seconds. I really love the softness of the images and the colors have a nice saturation. I think I'll enjoying playing with this.
