East Blvd. Bar & Grill

At least I got out of the house today with my camera. Here are a few shots taken at lunch at East Blvd. Bar & Grill. I like the industrial lighting, so this was my focus. I also noticed the light coming through George's Diet Coke and thought it was worth a shot.

Another in the "flower on black" series

Since my creativity is at an all-time low right now, I decided to add to my series of flowers (and sometimes fruits and veggies) on a black background.  This camellia took a beating in today's rain, but was the only bloom I could reach to cut.  Not the greatest shot, but I'm just thrilled to be through this week without giving up.  Less than two months left.....I'm not going to quit, but I definitely need some inspiration.

Rubber Ducky You're the One

I've "moved" back to Charlotte to find a house that was in desperate need of "deep cleaning" after having been neglected since May.  So...I've been working since Monday morning to get it all done and today I finally got it finished.  My body aches all over, my hands feel like sandpaper and photography has been the last thing on my mind (actually, it's been on my mind, but I couldn't do anything about it).  I was so tired tonight that all I could think about was a long soak in the bath with a nice glass of wine.  When I got to the bath, my rubber ducky cheered me up!

It's after 10:00 and I haven't had my camera in my hand all day.  I'm dead dog tired and only wanting to go to bed.  So please ignore me tonight.....but I chased down my two favorite boys for a quick shot.  I hope I'm not as busy tomorrow and can do something a little more creative.....

Autumn trees

At least in autumn, the trees put on such a show that taking a quick photo isn't too much work.  Here are a couple in our front yard.
